The three streets (calle del Arenal, del Carmen and Preciados) where our light installation is located form roughly a circle in the old centre of Madrid connecting the Opera house with Puerta del Sol and plaza de Callao. The installation consists of 380 luminous flower motives that are suspended in an apparently random order creating an artificial ceiling of flourishing plants that softly change their colours while the spectator progresses along the street. Each of the four different types of motives combines light rope, light bulbs and cordon, is 3,20m high weighing less than 6kg.

Las tres calles donde se ubica nuestra instalación lumínica (calle del Arenal, Calle del Carmen y Preciados) forman aproximadamente un círculo en el centro histórico de Madrid conectando Opera con la Puerta del Sol y la plaza de Callao. Nuestra instalación consiste en 380 motivos florales luminosos suspendidos de manera aparentemente azarosa creando un techo artificial de plantas en flor que cambian suavemente de color mientras el espectador progresa a lo largo de la calle. Cada uno de los cuatro tipos de motivos luminosos combina hilo luminoso con bombillas y cordón de microbombillas, es 3,20m de alto y pesa menos que 6kg.
